NOTE: The Visitor's Access Center (VAC)  issues ID cards for contractors, temporary ID's, employee ID's and dependents that live on the yard who are not authorized to have  Department of Defense common access cards (CAC) or military identification card.

  The VAC does not issue Common Access Cards or Military ID's for retiree's and dependents.  These services are provided at the Fort Meade, Customer Service Detachment located adjacent to Naval Health Clinic Annapolis (410-293-5812).

Location

The Pass and ID office is located adjacent to Gate 1 at the Visitor's Access Center in Halsey Field House.  From King George Ave, drive to Gate 1 on King George Street.  From Rowe Blvd; turn right onto MD 450 Taylor Ave, drive past Annapolis Fire Department Station and continue right to the intersection of MD 450 and King George Street, turn right over College Creek bridge,  through the King George Street and Maryland Ave Intersection and continue to Gate 1.

NEW:      The new Pass and ID office for contractors is in the Visitor's Access Center (VAC). The office will be open from 0600 to 1530 Monday through Friday. The phone number for the contractor Pass and ID office is (410) 293-4015 and the fax number is (410) 293-4013. Procedures for requesting passes and ID cards have not changed. Continue to send requests including extended entry ID forms to parkingandaccess@usna.edu .
